Film script: The format and layout of film screenplays is fairly constant around much of the world, for example across Europe and in the ‘Bollywood’ (Indian) and ‘Nollywood’ (Nigerian) film industries. Evaluate how the written extract meets the requirements of a pre-production script - D1

Feedback: The feedback I received from my script was mostly positive as people were able to see that the genre was horror due to the tense scenes. The feedback also ensured that the script tells the reader that the target audience it teens/young adults. I was also told by the feedback that people were confident in the fact that the script would take between 5-10 minutes if it were to be converted into an actual film. However the feedback also told me that people believed that some of the scenes felt rushed. Evaluation: At the start of this unit we were given a brief that explained that we were to create a horror script that would last between 5-10 minutes if it were to be converted into a real film. The brief also asked that the script is to be created in the correct format, uses the correct narrative and to have 2 or more sequences within the script. I believe i have accomplishes this as the script I produced fits within the horror demographic which was proven by the feedback as well ...
