The story is about a home owner who is home alone but is later disturbed by someone who breaks in. The point of the film is for the protagonist to wait for the police so that they can be safe before the intruder finds them. The horror aspect is from the mystery behind the intruder and what they will do while the home owner has to hide and wait to be saved. The location will be the protagonists house who the antagonist breaks into.
My second idea is about a civilian walking home alone at night however they are being stalked by a wanted criminal known for kidnapping their victims. The setting is a dark and very empty town which leads to her house. The plot is to get home before anything happens to she can call the police. The horror aspect comes from the feeling of being followed but the protagonist can't do anything about it because her phone is dead and they are alone.
My final idea is that the main characters grandmother passes away and inherits a box of cutlery. The main character is obviously disappointed and puts the box in his loft. Not long after he walks into the kitchen and sees one of the spoons from the box is on the floor. However he shrugs it off and returns to spoon to the box. The next day he wakes up to find the spoon on his bedside table and starts to get sceptical but still returns it to the box and continues with his day. Another day goes by and he walks into the kitchen to find 10 of the spoons scattered across the floor. In a panic he picks up all the spoons and throws the box away. He returns to his house the find all of the cutlery scattered across his house. He stands there in disbelief and horror until he finds the courage to run from the house. In a state of blind panic he runs into a main road without realising until he is killed by a moving car. The film ends at his funeral and the box is then passed on of one of his friends.

Three act structure:
Act 1 - A relative of the main character passes away and they inherit a box filled with cutlery. They are disappointed and but the box in his loft however he goes back downstairs and finds a lone spoon on the floor.
Act 2 - The next day he wakes up to find cutlery on his bedside table. He brushes it off as he believes that he had some in his pocket without realising and but them on the table before he went to bed.
Act 3 - Another day goes by and he wakes up to find more cutlery scattered across his floor. In a panic he takes all the cutlery and the box and throws them in the bin. Ones he gets back inside he sees all of the cutlery covering his floor. In a panic he runs out the house and onto a road until he is killed by a car. At his funeral the box is then passed onto one of his friends.
What part of the story would work well as a script:
I believe that the start of the story would work well for the script because it has a lot more dialogue as there are more characters compared to the rest of the film. The film starts with the main character visiting their grandmother however she had passed away shortly before they arrived. They rush her to the hospital however it is too late. Not long after she dies the main character inherits a large box of unknown origin. They open to box to find that it is filled with unfamiliar and oddly unnerving cutlery. The segment of the scripts ends with the main character viewing the first incident.
